  • NHL Career

    Tootoo was drafted 98th overall in the 2001 NHL draft by the Nashville Predators. He continued to play for his junior team, the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League, until 2003, when he made his NHL debut with the Predators. During the 2004-05 NHL lockout, Tootoo played in the American Hockey League for the Milwaukee Admirals. He returned to the Predators after the lockout and was suspended for five games on March 19, 2007, after punching Stephane Robidas.
