The eighteen year old star has canceled all singing dates for April but plans to rejoin the Key's tour in May. A vocal cord hemorrhage is bleeding in the vocal cord that is caused when the cord is strained after an infection, such as laryngitis. While severe cases require surgery, Sparks' record label stated that the singer is expected to fully recover with rest.
