Jordan Staal is a professional hockey player with NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. He has played with the Penguins since the 2006-2007 season, when he set several NHL records during his rookie year.

Career Highlights
Staal began his career with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League in 2004. He was then drafted second overall in the 2006 NHL draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. Stall joined the Penguins for his NHL debut the same year, playing 81 of 81 regular season games and scoring 29 goals and 13 assists. He was selected for the NHL Young Stars Game in 2007 as well as breaking the long standing NHL record of the youngest player to score a hat-trick (three goals in a single game). Stall accomplished this feat at 18 years and 153 days. He also became the youngest player in NHL history to score two shorthanded goals in a single game and the youngest player to score on a penalty shot. These feats led to his Calder Trophy nomination that year for the NHL's most outstanding rookie.
