Jonathan Van Every

Jonathan Van Every is a professional baseball outfielder for the Boston Red Sox. He was the 876th overall pick by the Cleveland Indians in the 2000 MLB Draft.

Pro Career

Van Every's pro career began in 2001 for the Kinston Indians. He advanced to AA Akron Aeros in 2005, and AAA Columbus Clippers in 2006. After 20 consecutive home runs in seasons 2004 and 2005, his home run totals dipped in his final two seasons in the Cleveland organization. He was signed by the Boston Red Sox as minor free agent and made his major league debut on May 14, 2008 against the Baltimore Orioles.
