Jonathan Ross is a British comedian and radio and television personality. Ross has a multitude of hosting and critic roles such as They Think It's All Over, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, and the BAFTA awards ceremony.

Post-Suspension
Jonathan Ross is the host for the 2009 BAFTA Awards and will be his first worldwide broadcast after his suspension from BBC is lifted on January 23, 2009. Ross utilized his Twitter account to ask for suggestions for an "improbably word" that he could slip by the television censors. He wrote: "Thanks for Bafta suggestions. Will whittle them down to a top three then slip one in." The BAFTA awards ceremony will air on February 3, 2009.
Background
Raised in Leytonstone, England, Ross was born to an entertainment family. His mother is the British actress Martha Ross. All of his brothers are also involved in the the television industry. Paul Ross is a television editor, media personality and a journalist. Miles Ross is a television actor and producter and Simon Ross is a television producer. In 2005, Ross was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire), a British order of chilvary.
