Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays King Henry VIII on Showtime's The Tudors. Meyers also models for Versace where he headlined the Autumn/Winter 2006 and Spring 2007 men's collection.
PerezHilton reported on February 26, 2009, that Meyers has checked into a rehab facillity. Career
Meyers' first notable role was in the 1998 filmVelvet Goldmine. In 2005, he starred in the television mini-series Elvis. He was nominated for an Emmy Award and won a Golden Globe for that role.
In the following years, Meyers starred in several other films such as Match Point and Mission Impossible 3.
Meyers' joined Showtime's drama, The Tudors, in 2007. He was nominated for that role at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards.
