In early May of 2009 Jonathan Polk was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with the shooting death of Delvarious Johnson. According to Tuscaloosa Police Captain Loyd Baker, after accusing Johnson of stealing $100 from him during a game of dice, Polk left the game, saying he was going to get a gun.
