Brief Biography
After graduating high school in 1994, Levine attended film school and made his first feature film, the low-budget ($500,000) horror film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane in 2006. The film played at the Toronto Film Festival to critical acclaim. In 2008, his film, The Wackness, starring Ben Kingsley, Josh Peck, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Olivia Thirlby, was chosen for competition at Sundance. The film features a period hip-hop soundtrack, and also includes an appearance by former Wu Tang Clan member Method Man.
