Jonathan Kelsey shoes are the latest chic women's shoe line being compared to the likes of Christian Louboutin. After spending time with such noted shoe designers as Jimmy Choo and honing his craft, designer Jonathan Kelsey launched his own label in the winter of 2007. Kelsey's unique footwear designs have since been spotted on some of the most famous feet in the world, including Amy Winehouse and Mischa Barton.
Jonathan Kelsey's collection includes a wide variety of pumps, including some stilettos, along with some "booties" - part stiletto, part boot. Shoes are designed using leather and come in many different bold colors, including some metallics. In the summer of 2009, Jonathan Kelsey's short film High was released. Kelsey explains that the film is a "fashion short" - a sort of hybrid between cinema and fashion, or an extended advertisement.
