The Jonas Brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick, are a pop/rock band from Wyckoff, New Jersey. They have gained immense popularity from their albums, movies, collaborations and tours with fellow Disney act Miley Cyrus and their Disney Channel reality series titled Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream.
On March 11, 2009, the Jonas Brothers announced plans for a 44 city summer concert tour with Jordin Sparks and Honor Society. The tour kicks off on June 20 in Dallas, Texas, and concludes August 31 in Ottawa, Ontario. They will also be touring the U.K., Europe and South America in the fall. The brothers also announced they will be releasing a new album on June 15th. The band was originally formed as a solo project for Nick but the three brothers were eventually signed to Columbia Records in 2005. Their debut album "It's About Time" was released on August 8, 2006 and sold over 50,000 copies worldwide. The brothers switched to Hollywood Records and the second release of the album sold 1.1 million copies. In 2007, their self titled second album was released and reached number five on the Billboard Hot 200.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 that the Jonas Brothers, one of the girls' favorite bands, will perform at the Kids' Inaugural: We Are the Future concert to honor military families on January 19, 2009. The concert, which will also feature performances by Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Bow Wow, will be hosted by Michelle Obama and Jill Biden.
