    On March 11, 2009, the Jonas Brothers announced plans for a 44 city summer concert tour with Jordin Sparks and Honor Society. The tour kicks off on June 20 in Dallas, Texas, and concludes August 31 in Ottawa, Ontario. They will also be touring the U.K., Europe and South America in the fall. The brothers also announced they will be releasing a new album on June 15th. Their debut album "It's About Time" was released on August 8, 2006 and sold over 50,000 copies worldwide. The brothers switched to Hollywood Records and the second release of the album sold 1.1 million copies. In 2007, their self titled second album was released and reached number five on the Billboard Hot 200.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 that the Jonas Brothers, one of the girls' favorite bands, will perform at the Kids' Inaugural: We Are the Future concert to honor military families on January 19, 2009.
