• Football Career

  Prior to playing in the NFL, Runyan played college football with the Michigan Wolverines. After redshirting in 1992, he started three years, earning All-American and All-Big Ten honors. After college, Runyan was selected 109th overall in the 1996 NFL draft by the then-named Houston Oilers.Official Site Of The Philadelphia Eagles: Jon Runyan

  Runyan made his professional debut with the Oilers in 1996, playing in 10 games. He continued with the team for a total of four seasons as they became the Tennessee Oilers, then the Tennessee Titans. In 2000, Runyan signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles.
