Supporting His Peers
Lovitz was instrumental in getting his friend Phil Hartman a slot on the cast of Saturday Night Live by recommending Hartman to Lorne Michaels. He also provided encouragement and support for Lisa Kudrow, and subsequently appeared twice on Kudrow's popular situation comedy, Friends. -
