Jon Lieber is a right-handed pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. The cubs originally selected Lieber in the 9th round of the 1991 amateur draft. He declined a contract, however, and chose to continue his baseball career at the University of South Alabama. Following his collegiate career, the Kansas City Royals selected him in the 2nd round of the 1992 draft. Lieber played for the Pirates, Yankees, and Phillies, in between stints with the Cubs.

Strengths
Lieber is durable, and has the stamina to pitch a lot of innings. He holds runners effectively.[1]

Lieber struggles against lefties. He's not a very good hitter, even by pitchers standards.[1]
