Lester would be drafted with the 57th pick in the 2002 Major League Baseball draft. Lester would make his Major League debut on June 10, 2006. Lester would later be diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but he would return to the starting rotation in 2007 with no signs of the cancer. In the 2007 World Series Lester would win Game Four, which would give the Red Sox the World Series Championship.
