  • Early Years

    Klemm began his career in the Western Hockey League in 1987. In his final WHL season, he led the Spokane Chiefs to the Memorial Cup Championship in 1991. Just days later Klemm signed as an undrafted free agent with the Quebec Nordiques on May 14, 1991. He split his first few seasons between the Nordiques and their American Hockey League affiliates. In 1995, Klemm moved with the team as they became the Colorado Avalanche. He continued to play with the Avalanche for six additional seasons as a full member of their roster. Over those years Klemm won two Stanley Cup Championships with the Avalanche, in 1996 and 2001. On July 1, 2001, Klemm signed as a free agent with the Chicago Blackhawks.
  • Recent Career

    After just over two seasons in Chicago, Klemm was traded to the Dallas Stars on November 17, 2003. He did not play during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, but returned to the Stars after the lockout. He stayed with the Stars through the 2006-07 regular season, then signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings on August 20, 2007.
