Jon Cryer is an American actor, writer and producer. He currently stars in the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men. Cryer's first break out role was playing the love lorn "Duckie" in John Hughes' 1980s classic Pretty in Pink.
Cryer won his first Emmy Award in 2009 for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Alan Harper on Two and a Half Men.

Alan Haper
Cryer plays Alan Harper in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. Alan is an uptight, love lorn chiropractor. He and his young son Jake move into his brother's Malibu beach house when he goes through a divorce. Charlie Sheen plays Cryer's carefree bachelor brother aptly named Charlie Harper. Together the three of them make up Two and a Half Men.
