Jolicloud is the first operating system for netbook users. The company was started by Tariq Krim, who is the founder of NetVibes, a customizable homepage generator and Romain Huet, his partner. Krim stated, that the company got its start when he became frustrated by the way other operating systems worked on his netbook.
