Johnny Estrada is a catcher for the Washington Nationals. The Houston Astros drafted Estrada in the 71st round of the 1994 amateur draft, but he declined a contract. Estrada went on to play baseball at College of the Sequoias, and was later selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 17th round of the 1997 draft. Estrada made his major league debut on May 15, 2001. He played for the Phillies, Braves, Diamondbacks, and Brewers, before joining the Naationals as a free agent in 2008.
