Johnny Dawkins, a former duke basketball player, has accepted Stanford University's offer for him to become the next basketball head coach, to replace the departing Trent Johnson. Dawkins is a former assistant coach for Duke University and has been since 1998. He will become the first head coach at Stanford without previous head coaching experience.
