Vanderslice, continuing to craft melodic indie pop in the style of his previous band, has since released 6 solo albums, featuring throwback analog production methods Vanderslice refers to as "sloppy hi-fi."

Vanderslice's recordings studio, Tiny Telephone, has been used by a variety of popular indie bands, including Death Cab for Cutie and Okkervil River.
