For most of his career, Stockton played alongside Karl Malone. The two became one of the NBA's most prolific tandems, utilizing the pick-and-roll to near perfection. Stockton and Malone led the Jazz to the NBA Finals in 1997 and again in 1998. However, both resulted in losses to the Chicago Bulls. Stockton appeared in 10 All-Star Games and played on the 1992 and 1996 US Olympic basketball teams. Stockton is considered one of the best players to never have won an NBA championship.
