John Stamos is an Emmy-nominated American actor who began his career on the soap opera General Hospital. His break-out role was the character of "Jesse Katsopolis" on the sitcom Full House. After his stint on Full House, Stamos appeared in television movies and a short lived sitcom Jake in Progress before staging a comeback on the long run medical drama ER. Stamos joined the cast in 2006 as Dr. Tony Gates and as of 2008 is still a member of the program. The program will end in the spring of 2009. On July 13, 2010 it was reported that Stamos had testified in the ongoing case with 24-year-old Allison Coss, who is alleged to have threatened to expose compromising photos if Stamos did not buy them for $680,000. Previous to this threat, it is alleged that actor Stamos asked Cross if he could perform oral sex on her.
