Former professional basketball player John Paxson serves as the executive vice president of basketball operations for the Chicago Bulls in the National Basketball Association. He previously served as the team's general manager.
Paxson was replaced as the Bulls' general manager on May 20, 2009. Basketball Career
Paxson began his career playing college basketball with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He averaged 12.2 points per game, earning All-American honors twice. Making his professional debut with the San Antonio Spurs in 1983, Paxson played two seasons with the Spurs before signing as a free agent with the Chicago Bulls in 1985. Playing alongside Michael Jordan, Paxson helped the Bulls win three NBA Championships, including sinking a three-point shot to win game six of the 1993 NBA Finals. Life Off The Court
