  • John Michael Higgins is an American film, television, stage and voice actor. In addition to his many acting talents, Higgins is also an accomplished A Capella singer and was part of the all male group The Zumbyes, while attending Amherst College in Massachusetts.

    John Michael Higgins joins the cast of the NBC sitcom Kath and Kim as the husband of actress Molly Shannon.

    Higgins is the type of actor that many know by sight, yet most do not know his name. He has appeared in many well known films such as G.I. Jane, Best in Show, Trinity, Fun with Dick and Jane, The Break Up, Fred Claus and Evan Almighty. Higgins had recurring roles in hit television shows including Ally McBeal and Arrested Development. His starring breakout role was in the HBO television film The Late Shift where he starred as David Letterman.
