Radio and TV personality and former Major League Baseball player John Marzano was found dead in his home on Passyunk Avenue in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, April 19, 2008.
Marzano died after falling down a flight of stairs at his home in South Philadelphia.
John Marzano hailed from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He played baseball for Temple University and was later drafted to play for the Boston Red Sox. When his baseball career ended he went on to work as a television and radio commentator for local media outlets.
At the time of his death, Marzano worked for Major League Baseball's BaseballChannel.tv.
