2008 Season
Lynch became a free agent in February of 2008 and was considering retirement. He chose to re-sign with the Broncos, to a one-year $3.12 million contract on March 1, 2008. The Broncos later released him, he was picked back up by the Patriots, then released again.Retirement
Lynch will announce his retirement from football on November 17, 2008 after playing 15 seasons in the NFL. He will retire as both a Buccaneer and a Bronco. Lynch played in 224 career regular-season games and had 1,277 tackles and 26 interceptions.
