2008 Season
Lynch became a free agent in February of 2008 and was considering retirement. He chose to re-sign with the Broncos, to a one-year $3.12 million contract on March 1, 2008. The Broncos later released him, he was picked back up by the Patriots, then released again. -
Retirement
Lynch will announce his retirement from football on November 17, 2008 after playing 15 seasons in the NFL. He will retire as both a Buccaneer and a Bronco. Lynch played in 224 career regular-season games and had 1,277 tackles and 26 interceptions.
