John Lilly was named the chief executive officer of the Mozilla Corporation at the beginning of 2008. He replaced Mitchell Baker who will maintained her role as chairman. Lilly was formerly Mozilla's Chief Operating Officer and joined the company in 2005. Mozilla develops open-source Internet applications that operates under the non-profit Mozilla Foundation.
