John Knoll is an Academy Award winning motion picture visual effects supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic. He won the 2007 Oscar for Best Achievement in Visual Effects for his work on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. He was also a speaker at the TED 2008 Conference.
