John Hodgman is an American humorist, actor, and author. He has appeared as a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show and written for various publications, including The Paris Review, Wired, and The New York Times, but he is perhaps best known for his appearances on a popular advertising campaign for Apple computers alongside actor Justin Long. Hodgman was a featured speaker at the TED 2008 conference.
