  • John Hennigan is a professional wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment. He is known by his current ring name John Morrison and appears on the ECW and SmackDown brands.

    On May 17, 2009, Morrison defeated Shelton Benjamin on WWE's pay-per-view Judgment Day.

  • Career Notes

    In 2002, Hennigan was a contestant on the WWE/MTV reality show WWE Tough Enough. He was one of the co-winners and debuted on Raw in 2004 as Johnny Blaze, an assistant to General Manager Eric Bischoff. Hennigan would go through several name changes which included Johnny Spade and Johnny Nitro.

    In 2005, Johnny Nitro teamed with Joey Mercury and Melina to form the stable MNM. Together they would win the Tag Team Titles and be aligned with Kevin Federline furing a feud with John Cena.

    Mercury was released from WWE in 2007 and Nitro was drafted to ECW. After winning the ECW Championship, He changed his name to John Morrison. Morrison eventually lost the title and formed a tag team with The Miz.
