John Giuca was convicted of the 2003 murder of Mark Fisher. Giuca was sentenced to 25 years to life along with accomplice, Antonio Russo. The motive of the killing was reportedly a show of street credibility.
Doreen Giuliano, Giuca mother, attempted to undertake a covert mission to befriend a juror on her son's jury in order to exonerate Giuca. Although Giuliano reportedly recorded incriminating conversation with juror Jason Allo, a state supreme judge has condemned her attempt to exonerate her son and rejected the attempt to overturn Giuca's conviction. The New York Times: Judge Rejects a Woman’s Covert Effort...
