John Fox

Professional football coach John Fox serves as the head coach of the Denver Broncos in the National Football League. Previously, Fox was the head coach of the Carolina Panthers and held other lower-level coaching positions around the NFL and in NCAA Football. Fox was announced as the new head coach of the Denver Broncos on January 13, 2011, by new Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway. John Fox Statistics and Career

In his early years of coaching, Fox spent time with various college football teams as a secondary coach such as in 1980 with the Boise State Broncos, 1982 with the Utah Utes and 1983 with the Iowa State Cyclones. Fox made his NFL coaching debut with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the defensive backs coach, a position he played in college. He later moved on to serve as a lower-level coach for the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and St. Louis Rams. He took his first head coaching job with the Panthers in 2002, after a four-year stint as the defensive coordinator with the New York Giants.
