John Elway is a former quarterback for the Denver Broncos and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Playing his whole career in Denver, Elway's number 7 was retired by the Broncos, and he was named to the NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team. Elway was selected to nine Pro Bowls and won two Super Bowls with the Broncos.

John Elway NFL Career
After graduating from Stanford, Elway was drafted first overall by the Baltimore Colts in the 1983 NFL draft, and he was subsequently traded to the Denver Broncos, where he would play his entire career. Elway led the Broncos to the Super Bowl in 1986, where the Broncos lost to the New York Giants. He again led the team to the Super Bowl in 1989, where the Broncos lost to the San Francisco 49ers. Elway eventually led the Broncos to Super Bowl victories in 1998 and 1999, defeating the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons, respectively.
Colorado Crush ownership
In 2003 Elway was part of an ownership group that included Pat Bowlen owner of the Denver Broncos and Stan Kroenke owner of the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and part owner of the St. Louis Rams to purchase an expansion team in the Arena Football League.
The team was known as the Colorado Crush, and played their home games at the Pepsi Center. In 2005 they won the Arena Bowl Championship, but as of 2009 are now is suspended/defunct mode as the world of Arena Football reinvents itself. http://www.sportzu.tv/content/colorado-crush
