John Donahoe is the Chief Executive Officer of the online auction giant eBay. Donahoe assumed the position in April, 2008, upon the resignation of Meg Whitman.

Donahoe joined eBay in 2005, recruited by Whitman who had worked with the former Dartmouth College basketball player in the 1980s at Bain & Company, a consulting firm based in Boston. Donahoe was elected to the institution's Board of Trustees in 2003. Donahoe received his MBA from Stanford University and is a member of the Stanford Business School's Advisory Board.
