    Born to a middle class family in 1903, John Herbert Dillinger spent a troubled youth in Indianapolis and Mooresville, Indiana.     2. July 17, 1933 - Robs the Commercial Bank of Daleville with Harry Copeland and Hilton Crouch
    3. August 4, 1933 - Robs First National Bank of Montpelier, Indiana, with Copeland and Crouch.
    4. August 14, 1933 - Robs Citizens National Bank of Bluffton, Ohio, with Copeland and Crouch.
    5. Sept. 6, 1933 - Robs Massachusetts Avenue State Bank in Indianapolis with Copeland and Crouch.
    6. September 22, 1933 - Captured and transferred to Lima Jail.
    7. October 12, 1933 - Pierpont, Makley and Clark break Dillinger out of jail.
    8. October 14, 1933 - Robs the Auburn, Indiana, police station arsenal with Pierpont and Walter Dietrich.
    9. October 21, 1933 - Robs the Peru, Indiana, police station arsenal with Pierpont and Dietrich.

    11. November 20, 1933 - Robs American Bank and Trust Company in Racine, Wisconsin, with Pierpont, Makley, Clark, Hamilton, and Leslie Homer
    12. January 25, 1934 - Dillinger arrested at the North Avenue house.
    13. March 3, 1934 - Dillinger escapes from jail.
    14. March 6, 1934 - Robs the Security National Bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with Homer Van Meter, Eddie Green, Tommy Carroll, and Baby Face Nelson.
    15. March 7, 1934 - The Department of Investigation (FBI) enters the case.
    16. March 13, 1934 - Robs the First National Bank of Mason City, Iowa, with Homer Van Meter, Eddie Green, Tommy Carroll, Baby Face Nelson, and John Hamilton.
    17. April 13, 1934 - Robs the police arsenal at Warsaw, Indiana with Homer Van Meter.
    18. May 1934 - Attempts to remove fingerprints with acids
    19. June 30, 1934 - Robs the Merchants' National Bank in South Bend, Indiana, with Van Meter, Baby Face Nelson and John Paul Chase.
    20. July 22, 1934 - Dillinger killed by law enforcement.
