    John DiGiorgio grew up in Shelby Township, Michigan, where he was a standout high school football player. He opted to attend Saginaw Valley State University, and was signed to the Bills and an undrafted free agent. As a Buffalo Bill, DiGiorgio saw limited time his first season, playing behind London Fletcher. However, when Fletcher left for Washington, DiGiorgio competed and won the starting job. He finished the 2007-2008 season with 117 tackles and one interception.
