John Constantine

John Constantine is a cynical, chain-smoking, British sorcerer with questionable motives and a humanist perspective. Although he was created initally as a secondary character in the Swamp Thing comic book series, Constantine got his own series, Hellblazer. In this series, his sorcery background and rough personality are combined in his role as a so-called "occult detective."
