John Cho

Introduction

John Cho is a Korean American film and television actor best known for his role as Harold in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. He played Sulu in the recent release of Star Trek. He has been cast as Demetri Noh in the new show FlashForward, which premieres this fall on ABC.

Early Life

John Cho was born in Seoul, Korea but his family moved to Los Angeles, California when he was 6. Cho went to highschool in Glendale, CA and received his BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley.

Career

Cho's big break into film came when he played a minor supportive role in the movie American Pie (1999). His now famous "MILF" line is what got him noticed. In 2004 he co-starred in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle alongside Kal Penn, and the movie went on to become a cult classic.

In 2007, he was offered a recurring role on Ugly Betty. He played Sulu in the J.J. Abrams-helmed Star Trek XI.

He is in the new show FlashForward, which premieres this fall.
