  • Joey Styles is a former professional wrestling play-by-play commentator for Extreme Championship Wrestling. He is currently the Director of Digital Media Content for World Wrestling Entertainment.

    Styles served as commentator for the entire original run of ECW. He often provided both color commentary and play-by-play at the same time. He was also the first announcer in history to call an entire pay-per-view event by himself. While in ECW, he became known for his catchphrase, "Oh my God!", which he would uniquely deliver after something extreme or dangerous happened.

    After ECW filed for bankruptcy, Styles signed a contract with WWE. He became the head announcer on Raw until the return of Jim Ross. After calling his first WrestleMania match at WrestleMania 22. After "quitting" Raw, Styles became the head commentator for the ECW brand.

    In April 2008, Styles retired from ring announcing to work on WWE.com as Director of Digital Media Content.
