The Rising Star
Joey Heatherton first appeared on The Perry Como Show in 1959. She then went on to appear in a variety of films including Twilight of Honor, Where Love Has Gone and The Ballad of Andy Crocker. Heatherton was also in television shows such as The Nurses, Route 66 and Mr. Novak.
Married Life
Heatherton was married to Dallas Cowboys receiver Lance Rentzel for a brief period of time. They were married from 1969 to 1972. The marriage fell apart when Rentzel was arrested for indecent exposure.The Harvard Crimson: Lance Rentzel: The Laughter Hasn't Died (February 8, 1973)
