Joey Harrington

  • Joey Harrington is a National Football League quarterback who plays for the New Orleans Saints. He previously played for the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons.

  • NFL Career

    Although improving his numbers every year since his rookie campaign in 2002, Joey Harrington has still posted some of the worst numbers in Detroit Lions franchise history. In his rookie season, Harrington started 12 games, and went 215 of 429 for 2,294 yards, with 12 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He was traded to the Miami Dolphins on March 16, 2006, for a sixth round pick.
  • Third Fiddle

    On September 19, 2008, Harrington signed with the New Orleans Saints. After being unable to find a starting job at QB, Harrington became the third string quarterback for the Saints.
