  • Joelle Ogletree was a high school teacher in Glen Rose, Texas, when she was falsely accused of sexual crimes with three of her students.

  • Background

    In 2002 Ogletree was falsely accused of having sex with three of her students. Ogletree was charged with sexual assault and indecency with a child. Her teaching license was revoked, and she was dismissed from Glen Rose.

    Maintaining her innocence, Ogletree refused to accept the prosecutor's plea deal, and by the time of the scheduled trial date, one student admitted to lying and the other two were discredited.

    Ogletree is currently suing the school district for wrongful termination.
