    On July 17, 2006, Siegel left a viewing of Clerks 2, just 40-minutes into the movie. He commented on Clerks 2 being the first movie that he ever walked out of. Director Kevin Smith posted on his blog that Siegel's behavior was disruptive and unprofessional.FOX News: Truce Called in 'Clerks II' Spat Smith later appeared on CNN to further discuss the incident.   • Death

    On June 21, 1996, Siegel was diagnosed with colon cancer. After his diagnosis he underwent surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Two years later doctors found a lesion on his left lung. Siegel underwent pulmonary lobectomy and chemotherapy again. He died on June 29, 2007.
