  • NFL quarterback Joe Montana filed a lawsuit on May 5, 2008, against Heritage Auction House and his first wife, Kim Moses for selling private love letters he wrote while at the University of Notre Dame, and other collectible items. Montana's lawsuit claims that the sale of those items caused a violation of his copyright and privacy rights. He alleges that many of the items were obtained following their divorce and without his knowledge. Montana is asking to be awarded more than $75,000 in damages.
