Joe McCain 911 Call

Joe McCain, brother of republican presidential candidate John McCain, allegedly called 911 emergency services on October 21, 2008, to complain that he was stuck in traffic. The audio of the 911 calls was acquired by Virginia news stations just a few days after the incident. At the time, Joe McCain was in Virginia campaigning for his brother.

In the 911 call, a man complains to the operator about being stuck in traffic. In frustration, he says "(expletive) you," and hangs up. The operator called back and got a recorded outgoing message saying, "Hi, this is Joe McCain, I can't take this message now because I'm involved in a very (inaudible) important political project. I hope on November 4th we have elected John."WashingtonPost.com: Joe McCain Makes News (October 23, 2008)
