Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong are an indie band from the United Kingdom who emerged on the scene in early 2007 with their hit "Lucio Starts Fires".

Joe Lean and the Jin Jang Jong completed their first headlining tour in the United Kingdom in 2007. They released their first single "Lucio Starts Fires" that year to favorable reviews. The band then released their second single "Lonely Buoy" on March 10, 2008.

Jin Jan Jong has been described as "keep-'em-on-their-toes music" with their catchy melodies and energetic performances. Each band member has a unique nick name such as Joe Lean, Tom D, Dom O'Dare, Panda and [Bummer Jong. The band had several major and indie labels that wanted the band to sign with them but in the end they chose to sign with Vertigo Records where they are recording their next album.
