Joe Girardi is the current Manager of the New York Yankees. He was Manager of the Year with the Florida Marlins in 2006, but was fired after the season ended due to differences with team owner Jeffrey Loria. Girardi played on three world championship teams: the 1996, 1998, and 1999 New York Yankees. Girardi began his major league career with the Chicago Cubs, and also played for the Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals.
