Joe Cronin

  • Joe Cronin was a professional american league baseball player in the early 1900's. When Cronin was first acquired by the Washington Senators, he was batting a dismal .221 average, but later that season he had a breakout season and was the best player in the World Series. He was also a team manager for the Washington Senators and the Boston Red Sox. Joe Cronin was known to be a fiesty but very sensitive leader. In 1959 he became the president of the American Baseball League.
