Jodi Arias is a 30-year-old California woman accused of the June 9, 2008, murder of her ex-boyfriend, 29-year-old motivational speaker Travis Alexander.Inside Edition: Motivational Speaker Murdered (September 23, 2008) Arias, who claims she is innocent, was arrested in California soon after Alexander's body was discovered at his home in Mesa, Arizona. Charged with first-degree murder, Arias's DNA was found at the scene in the form of a bloody left hand print. The Murder
Travis Alexander's body was discovered sitting in his shower on June 9, 2008, in his Mesa, Arizona home. He had been dead five days, and his two roommates had been living under the same roof with his lifeless body. These photos showed Jodi Arias naked on his bed, Alexander posing nude in the shower and finally two shots of his lifeless, bloody body. Police said the camera had gone off on accident when it captured the dead body. Masked Intruders
In an exclusive interview with Inside Edition on September 23, 2008, Jodi Arias said that a man and a woman wearing masks had broken into Travis Alexander's home and attacked both Arias and Alexander. She had managed to get away, feeling guilty for leaving Alexander behind to die.
