Joaquin Phoenix Hospitalized

Due to a bad case of the stomach flu, actor Joaquin Phoenix was unable to attend the premier of his new film Two Lovers at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19, 2008.
He reportedly wanted to attend the premier, but doctors insisted on putting him in the hospital. Phoenix was very dehydrated from vomiting and needed medical attention. He was said to be very disappointed that he had to miss the debut.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow plays Phoenix's love interest in the film and is said to bare one of her breasts.
